Waiting on the Lord in Meditation
Meditation is often likened to "waiting" for the Lord to come. And going "within" oneself is that of closing your senses to outside influences of s ight, and sound and taste touch etc, and seeking the kingdom of God within yourself. The Fig Tree, The Fig, The Fig Leaf are all metaphors for meditation and going withn as the Fig is the only fruit that blooms "on the inside", a metaphor for within.
Proverbs 27:18 Whoso keepeth the fig tree shall eat the fruit thereof: so he that waiteth on his master shall be honoured.
Thy Kingdom come thy will be done. Thy will is wating in meditation.
Proverbs 27:18 Whoso keepeth the fig tree shall eat the fruit thereof: so he that waiteth on his master shall be honoured.
