I believe religion misinterprets scriptures by taking the verses literally when they were meant allegorically. It's the "spirit" which means allegory and the "letter" which mean literal.
2 Corinthians 3:6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.
Romans 7:6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
Romans 2:29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.
Did you know that Jesus was a Werewolf? Numbers 10 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, 2 Make thee two trumpets of silver; of a whole piece shalt thou make them: that thou mayest use them for the calling of the assembly, and for the journeying of the camps. ~The Trumpets mean chanting OM (duh) ~Silver means The Moon (Gold is Sun) ~A "Whole piece of Silver" means The FULL Moon ~Two Trumpets mean Twice So in Numbers 10 v 2 we are being told to chant OM (howl) at the full moon twice per month! The Werewolf is the beast! It's the beast within us. Man's nature is that of a beast and by chanting OM you can slay the beast and become human again. Howl at the full moon!

Jesus said in Matthew 6 to forget the ways we have been taught to pray and to pray only one simple prayer.
