"Pitch" toward the rising sun

"Pitch" toward the rising sun

You can not understand the bible without a firm grasp of allegorical writing. When the bible verse says "Pitch" toward the rising sun, it is not talking about a direction, it is talking about the time of day. "Pitch" toward the rising sun in the east means to meditate at around 6:am when the sun rises in the east.

Numbers 2:3 And on the east side toward the rising of the sun shall they of the standard of the camp of Judah pitch throughout their armies: and Nahshon the son of Amminadab shall be captain of the children of Judah.

Why meditation and chanting OM? The word "Pitch" has a hidden meaning. Websters dictionary defines the word "pitch" as "the sound that is created by the vibration that governs it." Chanting O and chanting M creates that one-pitch vibration.

Samuel 17:1  Now the Philistines gathered together their armies to battle, and were gathered together at Shochoh, which belongeth to Judah, and pitched between Shochoh and Azekah, in Ephesdammim.

2 And Saul and the men of Israel were gathered together, and pitched by the valley of Elah, and set the battle in array against the Philistines.

(Saul is your sour, your sol, your inner sun, and Israel, the norther territory, represents the state of the highest mind, all gathered together in your mind to kill the Philistines.)

Genesis 6:14 Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch. (Here pitch is used as the sound that you focus your mind on in meditation that displaces other thougtht. In other words, the sound that seals your mind and prevents the flood water, other thought, from sinking your ark, your meditative mind.)

The phrase "Calling upon the name of the Lord" also is allegory for the act of meditating. When you meditate you automatically call for God to speak to you. Your job is to just sit and wait and listen.

Genesis 12:8 And he removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent, having Bethel on the west, and Hai on the east: and there he builded an altar unto the Lord, and called upon the name of the Lord.

And the Phillisitnes led by their monster soldier Goliath represent your problems. The things in life that you worry about, the things that occupy your mind. Death, taxes, fear of a loved one getting sick and dying, etc. These thoughts will "present themselves for battle" in your mind when you meditate but meditation promises that God will defeat them freeing your mind. In Noah's ark, God will drown them.
